Today we’re taking a look at a Snorlax action figure by Tomy. I found mine at Target, and the retail price there was around $12.99.

Or if you prefer to read reviews, here are my thoughts:
One of the first things you may notice about Snorlax from the packaging is that he has a soft belly. Why does he have a soft belly? I have no idea, but it is squishy.
Snorlax comes with one accessory, if you can even call it an accessory. This crystal thing that I had to look up what it is. Apparently it’s a Z-crystal that is compatible with a separately sold z-ring.
Let’s take look at Snorlax’s articulation. Its head is on a ball peg and it can rotate its head and look down a slight amount. If you make it look down to much, the head pops off the peg, but no worries. It snaps back on easily.
Its arms are attached to its body with hinged pegs that allow its arms to rotate all the way around and move out from its body a nice amount.
Its elbows have a single hinge that allows a little less than 90 degrees of movement.
Its legs have really a really interesting mechanic that I don’t remember seeing before. They legs are on large discs that spin around to allow its legs to move closer to its belly, then to the sides, and then further away.
Its feet are on ball pegs similar to its head and allow its feet to move forward and pack and tilt to the sides. These tilting feet make it easy for it to stand regardless of the position you have its legs’ spinning discs situated at.
It can even balance on one foot easily for a kick.
It also sits quite nicely by rotating its legs so that its feet are closer to its belly.
One pose I couldn’t get it into was a nice sleeping pose on its back because its back is so round that you can’t get both its head and feet to rest on the ground at the same time.
Snorlax stands about 5 inches tall.
Overall I think Snorlax is a really nice figure for its price point. It is more poseable than I expected, and the ball peg feet allow for some great poses. I’m glad I purchased it.
